Power Disc Slam is the debut game of Chequered Cow Games and is exclusive to the 3DS. It’s an arcade sports game heavily inspired by Data East’s Windjammers, a game that upon release was met with little acclaim, yet has slowly become a cult classic.

Conveni Dream – 3DS
Circle Entertainment is a prolific publisher on the 3DS eShop. They specialise in bringing short, quirky games from the East to gamers in the West. Their previous titles have been hit and miss in the quality department but there have been some standout titles that deserve recognition such as Mercenary Saga 2.

3D Gunstar Heroes – 3DS / Genesis
If you ask any Mega Drive/Genesis collector out there for a list of 10 must have games for the system, you can probably bet Gunstar Heroes will be right up there. Released in 1993 from Sega and developed by industry favourites Treasure, it was in fact the newly formed studio’s first release. Now, over 20 years later, the masters over at M2 have given it the “3D Classics” treatment fans have been calling out for.
